1) Children and Minors:
Children up to 12 years old stay for free (limited to 01 child per room, staying in the parents’ room).
Pousada das Garças does not accept minors unaccompanied by their parents. Minors in this situation must provide a written authorization signed by their parents with a notarized signature and an authenticated copy of both the minor’s and the parents’ identification. (Pursuant to Brazilian Law 8069/90).
2) Pets:
Pousada das Garças does not allow pets.
3) Reservation Confirmation:
Reservation confirmation and/or modifications will be finalized through a confirmation email sent by the Inn after payment via credit card or bank deposit. Deposits made after the pre-reservation deadline, or those not communicated to or authorized by the Inn, may be refused.
4) Payment Methods:
Bank deposit or Credit card (full payment): 50% at the time of booking and the remaining balance upon check-in at the hotel.
Interest-free credit card installments: 100% at the time of booking.
Special Holiday Packages: Please consult the Inn for specific terms and conditions.
Check-in and check-out times may be flexible subject to room availability.
In the case of payment via bank deposit, it must be completed within 24 hours and the receipt must be sent to reservas@pousadagarcas.com.br.
The reservation will only be confirmed upon the Inn’s receipt of the guest’s deposit confirmation.
The remaining balance of the reservation and/or modifications must be paid upon the guest’s arrival at the hotel. Any additional expenses incurred during the stay must be settled intermediately or upon checkout.
5) Daily Schedule:
Daily stays begin at 2:00 PM (check-in) and end at 12:00 PM (check-out). These times may be flexible based on room availability. The Inn offers pre-check-in services.
The Inn’s Reception hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Check-in after these hours must be arranged in advance via telephone, email, or WhatsApp. On Sundays, the reception operates until 6:00 PM.
Use of the BBQ grill is subject to availability and must be scheduled per room. Parties or celebrations involving guests from more than one room are not permitted.
When using the BBQ grill, all beverages must be supplied by the Inn.
During holidays with specific packages or events, schedules will be modified according to the requirements of the event.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to reservas@pousadagarcas.com.br.
1) Cancellations will be charged as follows:
a) Low Season:
Up to 15 days notice: No charge.
Less than 14 days notice: 50% of the total reservation amount.
b) High Season:
Up to 15 days notice: No charge.
Less than 14 days notice: 50% of the total reservation amount.
c) Special Packages (New Year’s Eve, Carnival, Holy Week, etc.):
Please consult the Inn regarding specific dates for Special Packages.
d) Early Departure: In the event of an early departure for any reservation (package or otherwise), the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
2) Pousada das Garças reserves the right to unilaterally cancel a reservation in the following cases:
a. The credit card provided is invalid, provided data is incorrect, or the credit is not approved by the financial institution.
b. Due to force majeure, within 48 hours after the reservation request.
c. Due to force majeure that prevents or impairs the provision of services.
d. Due to technical reasons that prevent the provision of services, following the reciprocity of the cancellation rules published in Item 1.
3) No-Show:
A “No-Show” is considered when the guest fails to arrive by the scheduled check-in date and time. In this case, the reservation will be automatically canceled without any refund of the amounts paid.
